Fate Fixed by Bonnie Erina Wheeler Blog Tour Interview/Giveaway

Synopsis:
When Lexie Anderson’s mother suddenly announces she is marrying a Romanian immigrant, Lexie willingly leaves behind her busy life in Connecticut for her penance in the "Moose Capital of the World.” Small town living is strange enough, now Lexie must cope with her overbearing stepfamily monitoring her every move. They disappear into the woods at night and keep a strange secret locked in their shed. Her once calm mother is now having violent outbursts and Lexie’s little sister is hearing sinister sounds coming from the forest behind their new home. Lexie’s biggest surprise comes when she discovers the boy she has been dreaming about since her accident is living in Maine. Despite Torin’s questionable reputation, Lexie cannot resist the physical and emotional attraction pulsating between them. Animals and people in town are turning up dead and Lexie learns the strange new world she lives in has real life monsters. Just when she decides she wants to be with Torin forever, she must fight to protect her mother and sister from being harmed by a formidable evil.

INTERVIEW:
About the Book:
Give me the blurb for the book in 140 characters or less:

After moving to the Moose Capitol of the world, Lexie's future w/ Torin is threatened when her new stepfamily reveals a deadly secret.
Do you have a favorite character? Why is he your favorite?

It is hard picking out a favorite character. Characters are like children, even though they are different, they all have their own unique characteristics that make them special. If I had to pick a favorite character, I would have to pick Braden Murphy, the eldest of the four cousins in the coven. I respect Braden’s love for his family and his willingness to put his needs to the side to see to it that his family is safe. Loyalty is a beautiful thing! There is more of Braden in book 2 in the series, Blood Twist.

What do you hope readers will get from your book?

My hope with Fate Fixed is that my readers can have an afternoon of enjoyment while escaping into Erris. I think one of the things I enjoy about reading paranormal romance is knowing that even though vampires and werewolves do not exist in real life, drifting into their world in fantasy is a great escape. I would love to be fated to someone who would love me forever. I hope my readers can have that feeling with Fate Fixed. That for the few hours it takes them to read my novels, they can imagine what it would be like to fight for a love that would last forever.

About the Author:
What/Who inspires you?

Receiving an email or a facebook message from a reader always inspires me. I love it when I hear from fans. I may never be a top selling author, but knowing that there are readers out there who love my characters as much as I do is a wonderful thing! I have made some amazing friends as a result of writing my novels. They inspire me to keep writing when I feel like giving up – especially when they are demanding the next book in the series.

Hardest aspect of writing? Best/Easiest?

The hardest aspect of writing is making time to do it each day. Like most people, it is a passion and not a paying career. The best part of writing is that it is the perfect escape from any stressor going on. No matter how stressed I get, as soon as I start writing, it all goes away.

Who is your writing hero?

My writing hero is my daughter, Miranda Wheeler, author of Something of a Kind. She just turned sixteen in June and is an amazing writer. Finishing a novel is hard work. It takes time, commitment, and concentration. She not only did it, but made her cover and blog too. I have seen articles online that discourage teens from writing novel length projects and I think it is a shame. She has proven that it is not only possible, but that it can be done well.

About the Future:
What’s next for you?

At this time I am writing book 3 in the Erris Coven Series, Soul Kissed. There will be six full length books for the series in total, plus a Christmas novella for the coven. I am also writing another YA contemporary novel, Find Me.

One outrageous goal for the future?

I would love to buy Torin’s car. I would make my husband drive us around in it so we could pretend to be Lexie and Torin.

Do you have any advice you'd like to share with other aspiring writers?

My advice to other writers is to just keep going. Do not let your fears of failure stop you from your passion. If you get that devil on your shoulder telling you that you are no good, flick him right off and just keep going. Give yourself permission to write crap and in time, you will see there was a method behind your madness. You will find your story and be happy for having taken the journey to get there.

Randomness:
Sweet or salty?

Sweet! Especially if it is chocolate!

Beach, plains or mountains?

Mountains!

Online, letters or in person?

Letters, especially long handed love letters.

Ebook or print?

One of each!

Synopsis for Blood Twist: An Erris Coven Novel Book Two
From Bonnie Erina Wheeler, the author who brought you Fate Fixed, comes the second installment in the Erris Coven Series, Blood Twist.

Braden Murphy knew he was going to die. There was a twist to his family secret – one that was forced upon him from the time he was a child. For years he envisioned his final days and tried to be strong enough to leave his family. Now that it was time, he was ready to make good on a deadly promise. Except for one unexpected glitch, a raven haired beauty insisted on joining him.

Liz Sanders thought her best friend’s stepfamily was weird, but she never would have guessed they were werewolves. Now Liz must travel with a secretive half-vampire in search of a lycanthropy cure. Landing in a nest full of blood thirsty vampires wasn’t on the agenda, but neither was falling in love.

Braden is tempting, but Liz’s feelings for him are complicated. She wishes he would open up about his past and give her a reason to trust him.
Just when Liz thinks she can let her guard down, she’s forced to confront the evil that has been stalking Braden’s past for years. Death is here and ready to destroy everything they've fought to save.
